36. Information.-

(1)

The Commission may call for any information required by it for carrying out the purposes of this Ordinance from any person involved, directly or indirectly, in privatisation activities or any matter incidental or consequential thereto. Any such person shall be liable to provide the required information called by the Commission, failing which he shall be liable to a fine or other penalty as prescribed from time to time.

(2)

The Commission shall submit to the Federal Government at such time and at such intervals as the Federal Government may specify-

(a)

such periodical reports and summaries as may be required by the Federal Government;

(b)

such periodical returns, accounts, statements and statistics as may be required by the Federal Government;

(c)

information and comments asked for by the Federal Government on any specific point; and

(d)

copies of the documents or original documents required by the Federal Government for examination or any other purpose.
