Rana Asif Tauseef
Minister of State for Privatisation


 

Rana Asif Tauseef who took oath of the office of Minister of State for Privatisation on May 3, 2011, born in Faisalabad on August 1, 1967, elected as Member National Assembly (MNA) for his first term as a PML (N) candidate in 2002 elections from NA-80, Faisalabad-VI and later again elected MNA as PML (Qauid-e-Azam) candidate in 2007-2008 General Elections.

A businessman by profession, he achieved B.Com degree in 1991 from Government Commerce College and completed his MBA studies in 1996 from London School of Business Administration.

His areas of interest include Finance, Commerce and Industry. He is also member of National Assembly’s Committees on Culture, Sports, Tourism, Youth Affairs, Population Welfare, Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs and Textile.

He traveled to U.S.A, England and Australia and includes walking, studying, listening to music and sports among his favorite pastimes. He is married with a son and 3 daughters.
