A formal kick-off meeting for the privatisation of SME Bank was held here
today at the Privatisation Commission with Mr. Arif Mansur, Secretary
Privatisation Commission in chair.
The Financial Advisor for the Transaction (BMA Capital) conducted a
presentation on SME Bank’s privatisation methodology and the way forward. The
Secretary Privatisation Commission directed the concerned officials to
exercise maximum transparency and ensure efficiency during the privatisation
process of the Transaction. Senior officials of Ministry of Finance, State
Bank of Pakistan (SBP), SME BANK and Privatisation Commission attended the
meeting.
