PC BOARD APPOINTS BMA CAPITAL AS FINANCIAL ADVISOR FOR SME BANK

A meeting of the Board of Privatisation Commission, which was held here today under the chairmanship of Mr. Zahid Hamid Federal Minister for Privatisation & Investment approved the appointment of BMA Capital as Financial Advisor for the privatisation of SME Bank.

In respect of the privatisation of National Investment Trust Limited (NITL) the PC Board directed the Transaction Committee to review the feedback received from interested parties and finalize recommendations by involving all the stakeholders.

The Board also reviewed the pre-qualification of interested parties for the privatisation of Hazara Phosphate Fertilizers Limited and the privatisation process of National Power Construction Company (NPCC).

The Board reviewed in detail the implementation status of various upcoming and ongoing transactions and issued necessary instructions to expedite their completion in the light of the laid down rules and procedures.

Members of the Board of the Privatisation Commission, senior officials of the respective Ministries and departments attended the meeting.
