A delegation led by Mr. Richard Heald, CEO ABN AMRO Rothschild-our JV
responsible for Capital Market Transactions held a meeting with Dr. Abdul
Hafeez Shaikh Federal Minister for Privatisation & Investment here today.
The Minister said that Pakistan has become a safe haven for the investors
around the globe. The misconceptions about the country were now very much
clear and the investors were now positive about Pakistan, however, the
ignorance among certain groups was being addressed, he said.
He stressed upon the need to further educate the investors about the
Pakistan's economy and the market. The emerging market economy was carefully
watching the economic growth of the country, he stated.
Mr. Richard Heald, CEO ABN AMRO Rothschild-our JV confirmed that the investors
survey revealed that they were positive about Pakistan and that the Pakistan
was under valued. The current Global market was favorable and has attracted
the investors' attention and the market, he said.
He added that the image of the country in the international market has
improved.
