The Trade, Business and Investment delegations of India, United States of
America and Singapore visiting Pakistan to participate in EXPO Pakistan
Conference on 'Trade & Investment Opportunities in Pakistan' will hold
separate meetings with Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh Federal Minister for
Privatisation & Investment at Karachi on February 3, 2005 at Sheraton Hotel &
Towers at 1230 hrs. The delegations representing investors, Business groups
and Chambers of Commerce, Trade and Industry of their respective countries
will discuss the new avenues of investment and opportunities in Pakistan's
various sectors of economy and also to enhance the level of existing economic
activity among the respective countries. Dr.Abdul Hafeez Shaikh Federal
Minister for Privatisation & Investment who himself is an economist of
international repute is schedule to deliver his keynote address in the first
session of the Conference at 1130 hrs (Sharp) tomorrow (Thursday- February 3,
2005) at Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Karachi, which will also be addressed by the
top leaders of the Japan, UK, Canada, China and multinationals of other
countries.
