Government Constitutes Nine Member New Privatisation Commission Board

Islamabad, March 20, 2003


The Federal Government has reconstituted the Privatisation Commission Board (PCB) with Senator Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh Advisor to the Prime Minister on Privatisation & Investment as its Chairman.

The other nine members of the Board include :-

1. Mr. Moin M. Fudda,
2. Mr. Saqib H. Shirazi,
3. Mr. Iftikhar ul Haq,
4. Mr. Mahmood Nawaz Shah,
5. Mr. Farid Rehman,
6. Mr. Kamal-ud-Din Ahmed,
7. Mr. Shakiel Z. Lari, Pir Saad Ahsanuddin
8. Secretary PC Mr. Ahmaad Waqar as its Secretary/ Member.

Most of the members represent the private sector with vast experience in various economy related sections/ business groups. Mr. Moin M. Fudda and Mr. Saqib H. Shirazi had  already contributed the previous Board as its members.
